Simply Striped Pillow Blog Hop
March 7
Welcome to my first Blog Hop on Susie's Sunroom!
I invited six "super star" quilters to make a pillow "any way you like" from one pattern-
the Simply Striped Accent Pillow Pattern { available on my Craftsy here}!
Today, the sixth day of the blog hop, we will see the pillow that Amanda, modern country quilter, and Mug Rug Pattern Queen, of The Patchsmith blog, has created!
Meet Amanda @ The Patchsmith blog |
From Amanda~
My passion is designing mini quilt and mug rug patterns but I also love to make a pillow or two (we call them cushions here in England).
I love the simplicity of Susie's Simply Striped Pillow pattern with its envelope closing and easy-to-follow instructions. It was so quick and easy to make that I even had time to add a little touch of Patchsmith whimsy.

Hi Martina, You are absolutely right - we can't have you left out just because you were a day early - that wouldn't be right. Hopefully you have received the Scottie Dog mug rug pattern. I hope you have fun with it. Have a lovely weekend too.

So adorable! The accent strip on the pillow is just the right size, to create piecing, appliques, or feature a favorite print - couldn't be more versatile!
ReplyDeleteI agree Amy - it is a brilliant little pattern.
DeleteI'm in love with Amanda's adorable Scotties and they look smashing on a red gingham pillow!
ReplyDeleteSusie, this hop is really showing how perfect your Simply Striped Pillow is for any style. Like Amy just said, it could not be more versatile. That is really great of Amanda to pair her pattern with your pillow as a bonus this weekend!
