The Across the Pond Sew Along
is a sewing group hosted by Amy Made That!, The Patchsmith and Susie's Sunroom. Started in 2012 by friends who are separated by the Atlantic Ocean , this sew-along aims to combine laughter and friendship with a love of sewing. Every month there will be a different project to share. So why not join us, no matter which side of the pond you are on, for some fun and friendly support.
Sew Along with us on all kinds of projects , see them listed by month below, in the Across the Pond Sew Along , and post your finished item on our Flickr page! Become inspired by beautiful projects!
Every month we will have a new project. Some projects will be original designs by the awesome designers~ Amy , of Amy Made That! and Amanda, of The Patchsmith.
Don't worry if you can't make the project every month... (no one is keeping track!)
Make something when you can!
See what your new friends have made!

I promise I am going to get my tote finished!!! I have made a couple table runners and pot holders for the craft show on Saturday. Everything I seem to pick takes a long time. The first table runner was had 8 small paper pieced bear claws in it. I think it is very pretty but it took me a long time. Pictures of my tote will be posted soon.
ReplyDeleteI also find things take a long time and then I wonder how others get everything done!
DeleteWhat a sweet mug rug! I've got a layer cake full of pink & red hearts that I'm thinking would make a great heart quilt. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind words. Send me pictures when you make it!
DeleteI just came across to your blog and love this idea of Sew along. I will be joining you soon. I never made Journal covers but got one as a gift. Perfect time to learn how to make it and joint you on Flickr! :) Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea...just as soon as I get a new sewing room set-up, I will come back and join in your "across the pond" sew along. I have also added you to my blog list.
ReplyDeleteSusie, it's so wonderful that you and Amy and Amanda are doing this! What a great way to grow your friendships and make new ones too!
ReplyDeleteThe projects are all very creative and well done!
