A Busy Week
I thought that January would be a month when things would slow down. So far, that hasn't happened for me.
During the past week, I did find time to make a few smaller projects.
Bird Pincushion made with Moda Fabric- Mill House Inn |
( Notice that I used some gingham for Amanda, The Patchsmith, and polka dots for Amy, Amy Made That!, to make them happy!)
"Tea Time" for bird, sitting on her coordinating Elegant Teapot Table Topper |
And, one evening, I made this little Cathedral Window pincushion .
A Cathedral Window pincushion for February |
The plumpish bottom side |
Last week, Amy , of Amy Made That! made these beauties |
That happened to be a coincidence.
Ok, I admit that I copied her!
(These little pincushions are so addictive !)
I'm off to my sewing room! |
Sometimes we are only able to carve out 30 minutes or so for ourselves and these two projects are perfect for those moments. Love the gingham belly on the bird by the way :-)

Such cute projects!!!
ReplyDeleteI do understand your time issue! But aren't those small projects wonderful when time is limited? I have my bird all cut out. I'm planning on sewing it together tomorrow night. I can't wait! And I LOVE your pincushion!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a fabulous pincushion! I love the fabrics you chose. And what is up with that sweet little mat underneath it? Is that one of those mini design boards I saw somewhere? Adorable!
ReplyDeleteI love all these little projects, thank you for sharing them with us xx
ReplyDeleteI really am in awe of your pin cushions. They are lovely. http://openbeauty.blogspot.com/
