Our winter has brought us a lot of snow already . And a lot of really cold days and nights. But I have found a way to "play in the snow" and not get frozen!

| I added pockets in the corners , for hanging with a little dowel rod. I pieced these pockets with scraps left from making the block. I smile when I see these pieces- the carrot nose piece and the grass! |

Susie that is darling! You are very neat at paper piecing, I haven't tried that technique yet, I don't think I have the patience for it.... maybe that'll be something I try this year! Happy New Year! LOve those hanging pockets!

ReplyDeleteYour snowman wallhanging is adorable - especially all the embellishing you did - that scarf fringe is great! I used to do a lot of paper piecing - it's a great way to get really accurate seams and fun detailed patterns!
ReplyDeleteOur weather last week was as cold as yours - and now it's raining here, lol. I think you're having rain now just like we are - it sure beats the cold and the ice :D
